How we create, review, and maintain our content
All Beacon Talent guides, benchmarks, and resource articles are written or reviewed by David Berk, Founder and CEO of Beacon Talent. David has spent 20 years in SaaS revenue roles, including building and leading GTM teams at Hired.com, Harri, and Porch. Every piece of content reflects direct recruiting experience, not secondhand research.
Compensation benchmarks, market statistics, and hiring data referenced in our articles come from a combination of:
When we cite external data, we link to the original source so readers can verify claims independently.
Every article carries a "Last reviewed" date. We audit all published guides on a quarterly cycle. During each review we check that salary ranges, market conditions, and best practices still reflect what we see in active searches. Articles that reference annual data (such as our compensation benchmarks) are fully updated at the start of each calendar year.
We do not publish unverifiable claims. Statistics such as "3-week average time to fill" and "93% 12-month retention" are derived from our internal placement records. If a data point changes materially, we update the article and note the revision date.
If you spot an error in any Beacon Talent article, email us at hello@beacontalent.io. We will review and correct confirmed errors within two business days and note the correction at the bottom of the article.
Beacon Talent does not accept sponsored content, affiliate placements, or paid guest posts. Our guides exist to help SaaS hiring managers make better decisions. We recommend tools and approaches based on what works, not on commercial relationships.
